Pedigree: Brewers Gold and Yugoslavian male

Known for clean bitterness for years, designed when brewers seeked mainly for high alpha content, used for dry-hopping years later with great effects. Gives short, not lingering bitterness when used on hot side of the process. Aroma consists of grapefruit, citrus, liquorice, hay and aniseed. Very popular dual-purpose variety.
