In the coming weeks we will have the pleasure to taste US/PL collab beer with two things that we love: polish new wave hops and smoked wheat malt.
Our friends from Grodzisk (the birthplace of grodziskie style) and new friends from Live Oak Brewing Company from Austin (the promoters of grodziskie in the USA, brewing grodziskie for couple of years now) joined forces! In Grodzisk they brewed an imperial version of the classic style. Twice as much gravity, double ABV and, for us the most important part, even more than double amount of dryhopping!
The guys decided to use our Zula – one of the most promising new wave varieties that we offer. We could not just send the pellets, so we decided to be there on the brewing day instead 😉
